This Limited Warranty outlines exactly what is covered, what your responsibilities are as the owner, and how to handle a claim if something goes wrong.

1. Limited Warranty Coverage

Affordable Golf Carts provides a warranty to the original purchaser that every new golf cart bought directly from our dealership will be free from material and workmanship defects when used normally and properly.

Coverage Scope

This warranty applies exclusively to golf carts purchased directly from Affordable Golf Carts at our Crockett, TX location.

Warranty Eligibility

To qualify for warranty service, you must meet all of the following criteria:

• You are the original purchaser of the golf cart.
• The cart was purchased directly from Affordable Golf Carts.
• You can provide valid proof of purchase, such as an invoice or receipt.
• The cart has been maintained and operated according to the manufacturer’s guidelines, without modifications beyond factory specifications.

2. What Is Not Covered

We believe in being fully transparent. This Limited Warranty does not cover the following:

Normal Wear and Tear

• Everyday use and routine degradation over time.
• Consumable items such as tires, brake pads, belts, bulbs, and filters.
• Damage resulting from skipped or neglected routine maintenance.

Misuse or Negligence

• Improper driving, reckless handling, or inadequate storage.
• Damage caused by accidents, collisions, fire, vandalism, or severe weather conditions.
• Use of incompatible or unauthorized aftermarket parts.
• Overloading the cart beyond its recommended weight or seating capacity.

Unauthorized Work or Modifications

• Alterations to the frame, motor, controller, suspension, or electrical system.
• Attempts to bypass built-in speed governors or factory safety features.
• Repairs carried out by unapproved third-party mechanics.

Cosmetic Issues

• Scratches, paint chips, sun fading, minor surface rust, or other aesthetic wear that does not affect the cart’s operation or performance.

Other Exclusions

• Water damage, flooding, or submersion.
• Commercial or heavy rental use, unless the cart was specifically sold and rated for that purpose.

3. Our Limited Remedy

If we confirm a defect that falls under this warranty, Affordable Golf Carts will:

• Supply the necessary replacement parts at no cost to you.
• Help you navigate the manufacturer’s warranty processing system.
• Replace the defective components in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Customer Responsibilities

While we cover the parts, customers are responsible for:

• Labor costs for removing old parts and installing replacements.
• Transportation or shipping costs to bring the cart or parts to our facility.
• Ensuring the cart reaches our location or an authorized service center safely. Please note that you hold the risk of loss during transit until the cart is confirmed received by us.

Subject to applicable local laws, the remedies listed above are your sole recourse for warranty defects.

4. Incidental and Consequential Damage Disclaimer

Except where prohibited by law, Affordable Golf Carts is not liable for:

• Loss of time or loss of use of your golf cart.
• Costs associated with renting a replacement cart or arranging alternate transportation.
• Any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.

Our total financial liability will always be capped at the original purchase price of the product.

5. Keeping Your Warranty Valid

Use Approved Technicians

Any warranty-related repairs must be performed by Affordable Golf Carts or a technician we have explicitly approved in advance.

Follow the Service Schedule

• Complete your first service within the first 6 weeks of ownership.
• Schedule routine servicing every 6 months for carts in regular use.
• A full annual maintenance check is strongly recommended to keep your cart running at its best.

Proper Care

• Keep your cart clean, properly lubricated, and stored away from harsh weather conditions.
• Rinse off mud, sand, and debris from the undercarriage and moving parts after any off-road use.
• Keep all lubricants away from brake surfaces at all times.

Return Requirements

If your warranty claim involves the frame or structure of the cart, the unit must be returned to us clean so our team can properly inspect and evaluate the issue.

Warranty Void Situations

Your warranty will be voided if any of the following occur:

• Major repairs are attempted without prior authorization from Affordable Golf Carts.
• Unapproved aftermarket parts are installed that interfere with the cart’s systems.
• Components are disassembled beyond what is outlined in the manufacturer’s user manual.
• Factory safety features or speed limiters are removed or altered in any way.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under U.S. or Texas consumer protection laws.
